On February 20, 1998, we welcomed our beautiful boy, Chase Yarns, into the world,

Weighing just 2.2 lbs alongside his three quadruplet siblings. As one of six total siblings, Chase brought immense joy and laughter to our family. His vibrant spirit and determination always inspired us, and he continues to be a cherished part of our lives. He is a reminder of the love and strength we share as a family.

Testimonials

Chase, Still at a loss of words. Just pain. Life will never be the same without you. Our bond was special and not many could understand. There was no one I was more proud of than him. His love for people and his humor made him who he was and will always be remembered. I could not ask for a better brother. I love you, Chase. My other 1/4 of me. May he rest in peace. 🩶🪽🙏🏻 Love your quadsquad member,

Rhys

It is not often in my life that I don't have the words for an event that has happened. Monday was one of those days. Ever since I was a little boy, the only thing I ever wanted in life was brothers and sisters. Fortunately god blessed me with 5 of the most incredible humans as my siblings. Everyone who has ever met me knows how much they mean to me and how proud I am of each and every one of them. Chase - words cannot describe how amazing of a person and brother you were. Your faith in god and ability to find the good in all people is something that will be unmatched. My heart is broken and I wish I had one more opportunity to give you that big strong hug and tell you how much I love you and how much of a positive impact you have had on my life since you were born. Rest easy brother and let god guide you home to be at peace with some of the people you have loved and missed the most. I love you. "Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come: 'tis grace that brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home."

Chase, My dear nephew, though you're no longer with us, your memory will forever remain in our hearts. Your laughter, kindness, and spirit touched us deeply. May you rest in peace, surrounded by love and light. You will be missed more than words can say.

Chase was a board member of the Initiative for Depersonalization Studies and worked tirelessly to educate the public about Depersonalization-Derealization Disorder, a condition he knew intimately. As such his autobiography became a source of inspiration and hope for many. While he is now cradled in the loving arms of the God he loved, he will be sorely missed by those blessed by his brief presence on earth.

May the legend Chase Yarns rest well in heaven! He deserves it. It was a pleasure sharing some of my fondest childhood memories right next to him. He was hilarious, and always kind. I wish the entire Yarns family and his many, many friends peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for the loss of Chase. I used to take the bus with him back in middle school and high school. I always remember how he was kind to every person he came in contact with and always made everyone laugh. He was a true light and will be missed by all that knew him. Prayers.

Some of my best childhood memories would be going over your family's house to play. Chase was always there to make me smile. I hope when you remember Chase, you remember all the joy he gave to others, like me. I will never forget him.

I loved working with Chase at Bank of America. He was one of the only people that acknowledged me when I first started. I even brought him a lunch a few times and he loved it and we would always be joking around. He was a sweet heart.

Reading about Chase's passing was incredibly saddening. Chase and I were close friends throughout middle and high school — we both played band in middle school, worked on numerous group projects, and played recreational sports together. More than anything, though, he was just all-around a wonderful person, his smile brightening the day of anyone who came across it, and his kindness reaching far and wide. I am sending my sincerest condolences to the entire Yarns family. Will be praying for you all, and Rest In Peace, Chase.
